Conservation & Photography

This section aims to promote conservation and to raise awareness on the importance of biodiversity preservation through the art of photography. Photography is a powerful tool that can capture the state of the environment at a moment in time and therefore act as a record of the state of our environment and species that have inhabited our planet for generations to come. Often but sadly many species which have been photographed in remote locations are completely unknown to science. Unless we reverse our current practices and development models, it is likely that many of these species will become extinct before they are studied. Therefore, such photographs may end up acting as the only record to ever showcase the existence of these species on our planet.
